Problem began when I attempted to migrate all my documents out of iCloud and to move my iPhone photos out of iCloud and onto my Mac in order to place the latter on an external HD. Problem initially occurred while running 2016 MacBook Pro (2,9 GHz Intel Core I5 double core, 8 Go, 250GB) on Big Sur 11.0.1. 'Other' storage on the internal HD keeps increasing with or without system activity, accumulating up to 10GB/day or until storage is saturated.
